ABOUT THE PROJECT
Pepper‘s Paw Print Project started in 2024 to help raise funds for Pepper the Frenchie’s vet treatment after insurance would not cover the costs of her emergency surgery at the end of 2023. Pepper hasn’t had the best luck with her health & has had two major surgeries on both her spine and neck. A percentage of all purchases will help with Pepper‘s treatment and in the future this project will continue donating to a dog/animal charity.
BESPOKE PAW PRINT – How It Works
Once you have purchase via this listing, you will be sent an ink pad in the post. (If you already have a paw print of your pet please email lucyaddisonjewellery@hotmail.com to let me know so I don’t post out the kit)
Please ensure your delivery address is correct. The ink pad will come with easy to follow instructions, showing you exactly how to capture your pet’s paw print. Once you have printed the paw, you need to simply take a photo of the print & send it to me via message or email – lucyaddisonjewellery@hotmail,com
I will then draw round the paw shape to use as a template. The paw print will then be hand carved in wax. I will be in touch at this point to have you confirm you are happy with the shape/size in wax before casting begins.
I will then use the sand casting technique, using the wax paw print to make a mould before casting in sterling silver. (for 9ct yellow gold / 9ct white gold pricing please email)
Your paw will be cast, sanded, filed and polished before adding a jump ring and 18’’ chain. Your special paw print necklace will be posted out to your address via first class recorded delivery.
ABOUT THE NECKLACE
The shiny paw pads stand out beautifully against the textured lower surface, representing the fur between the pad pads. A perfect, sentimental gift for dog lovers, capturing the pet’s unique paw print.
